Now here’s something that not only looks cool, but is doing something good for the environment–definitely a product of our generation.

This Power-Aware cable measures the amount of energy being used by the intensity of the glowing. The idea behind the glow-in-the-dark power cable is that if we can actually see how much energy we’re consuming, maybe we’d opt to be a little more conscious when choosing to leave our devices on all night.
