Welcome back. This New Years Outfits series gives 3 options for how to give a new look to your little old black dress.

#2. Black Patent Leather Deco. Part 2 will show how Black Patent Leather can spice things up. Let’s start with the shoes..as always.

It’s not difficult to find a black patent leather pump for a good price. A good sling-back heel always is a good option, like the Carlos by Carlos Santana Avenue Patent Pump for only $49.99. Great, so shoes…check. Next, the ring. Go with an oversize, black ring but here is the catch: you want to make sure it sparkles in some way. How is this possible? I’m glad you asked. Try and find a ring that has black onyx or some other type of black stone in the center, but that is surrounded with diamond (fo, fake, semi-fake, whatever you can find). Now, earrings. Nothing goes better with black patent leather than deco style earrings. As long as they have some sort of black in them, you can really throw these with any other accessories.
